Young Women's Christian Association is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Cleveland, OH
The YWCA Greater Cleveland is a mid-size nonprofit organization with an operating budget of just under $10 million. We are seeking an Accountant for the YWCA of Greater Cleveland that will be responsible for financial transactions in accordance with policies and objectives as developed by senior management ensuring that incoming and outgoing funds are accounted for using standards that meet generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will have experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Understands the Accounting Software and is able to utilize it efficiently and train new employees on its use.
- Prepares and submits reports on agency finances.
- Prepare Bank reconciliation's and resolves all outstanding items in a timely manner.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable invoices as required.
- Proficient use of spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Assist other Departments with Financial related inquires, reporting and issues.
